While browsing the web I discovered this old (from 2008) metalcast radio show that features a song from the now out of print Newropa EP. So if you’re curious about what the demo version of ‘Hatestate’ (later featured in a re-recorded version on Molotov) sounds like, give it a listen. New website, new album, new faces

The new gzs album ‘CounterCulture’ is set to be released sometime the next few days depending on the digital distributors.

The album will be available digitally from all the major retailers as well as available for streaming via Spotify.

To mark the occasion the gzs website has been given a much needed facelift.

Last but not least we would like to welcome Alek as our new bass player. Because of his late arrival he did not perform on the album, but hopefully you will get to see him soon on a stage near you!

Norway Rock Kick Off (Tömmermenn + GZS)

To band skal underholde når NRF (fortsatt ikke en forkortelse for Norsk Rødt Fe) kjører Kick Offs i Kristiansand og i Kvinesdal.

“Da er det snart duket for et nytt bandslipp fra Norway Rock! Vi river i en rekke med nye artister til årets lineup og mulighet til å vinne 2 festivalpass. Det er Harvest Bar (Kvinesdal) og På Hjørnet (Kristiansand) som skal vært vert for oss denne gangen. Banda som skal feire med oss er tøffere enn toget, og det er ingen ringere enn Tömmermenn og Ground Zero System!

Tömmermenn er et av Norges desidert tyngste, beste og råeste rockeband. De har en kraft og energi i musikken som det er få andre forunt å ha. Dette er metalrock på sitt beste, hvor elementer fra 70-, 80- og 90-talls metall er mikset sammen med et eget innovativt utrykk. Særegent for bandet, er vokalist Geir Berntsen’s unike stemmekapasitet. Han besitter de mørkeste vrengninger fra black metall, til den kraftigste vokal fra tradisjonell rock. Det unike med Tömmermenn er at de når metallfans i alle aldre! De lager melodiøse låter, med fengende refrenger. Tömmermenn låter like fett live, som på plate.
